War… it never changes…
One of the few things in the world that can be beautiful,
and ugly all at the same time.
fills many with fear, any fills others with pride.
The feelings consume them, until their time is up and they have died.
War… country to country
From continent to continent, why do we need to fight more?
Sending good men to their doom, or to become a victim of shock?
I don't know how but war rules over the clock.
For when it hits midnight panic comes bursting through the door,
When the clock strikes midnight its dooms day and everyone has hit the floor.
From the flashes of gun fire, to a nuclear blast
All are beautiful, but that doesn't last because when the smoke and ashes settle
And we have search through the flames and rubble to find our dear neighbors and friends,
The ones who were simply forced to meet their ends.
War… it's not a stationary think…
If you're not careful it may be you're in the sling.
For it is everywhere from state to state
Neighbor to neighbor, it's a lasting trait
War will last 'till the end of time
Even if no funds are given, not even a dime
War will go on driven by hate and fear
And like a gear it grinds away at the human race
until no one is left to stay in our place.
