I was walking through the woods to ease my mind
The stresses of life is sometimes too much, I needed to unwind.
As I walked, I saw something in the corner of my eye.
It's nothing, just a tree thought I.
Walking on through the dark woods, flash light in hand.
I feel as if I can no longer stand.
The feeling that someone's watching me, it's simply too much.
For in the deathly quiet woods alone on this night had me in a rush.
I want to look behind me, but I didn't
Out of the fear of what it might be.
For the thought of The Slender Man was being pushed to the front of my mind.
The urge to look is growing...
I just have to be in the knowing.
As I slowly turn I see The Slender Man has been following me!
As tall as a tree and face with nothing, not even eyes, but somehow he sees
The terror nearly brings me to my knees.
His skin is a pale white
That's why I'm surprised I didn't see him on this night
He wears a black suit complete with a red tie
As my glance passes I fear I might die.
Six tentacles jut out from his back
He looks as though he may attack.
I didn't want this night to be my last,
So I need to hurry, and get out of here fast.
I turn and run as fast as I can
For to my car I must go, to escape form Slender Man.
As I turn the corner, car in sight…
I notice, something isn't right.
He is beside my ride.
That was my ticket out of here and I can't hide
For the poems and reports I have read
Thinking of them now fills me with dread,
If I give up they may find me dead.
So now here I lay in my bed trapped in my house
The pictures of him lurking around my house in my head.
Now scared to get a drink
He is more dangerous than you think
For no wall can contain him
No window, or door even if locked
So he is free to walk my house unblocked.
He is going to get me sooner or later, so the possibilities are not that vast.
So now I leave you because my hope is fading fast.

Very nice work. Gives a hint of suspense when the narrator is met with Slenderman. As well as some of the rhymes fitting real well. The conclusion is not bad and gives the reader a sense of wonder if the Slenderman actually caught him or not, or if he is left to his thoughts leaving him insane. Overall: A very nice read for Halloween.
